In addition to providing financial support to the programs and services of the Human Resources Center, the Human Resources Foundation offers grants to those in our area who are working towards building a more inclusive and supportive region for all.

The Foundation responds to initiatives, opportunities, and needs that focus on community integration, workplace mentorship, continued educational opportunities, home modifications, supportive living arrangements, and social/educational groups that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or physical challenges.

HRF offers one-time annual grants up to $5,000 or if matched, up to $10,000 to support community initiatives that meet the following guidelines:

Eligible applicants include 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that reside in Wayne, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, Lackawanna or Carbon County.

The initiative, service or project you are requesting funds for takes place in one of the six counties and will provide proven support towards at least one of the areas of interest.

The project has proven success and/or a projected impact on the empowerment of those in our community with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Each year, Human Resources Foundation provides scholarships that are eligible to high school seniors in Wayne, Monroe and Pike County who planning to pursue a career in the Human Services field.
